Who is Passiones Martyrum
I'm a Fetish artist, living in Milan, Italy.
Just like many other Italian children my upbringing was a catholic one, which marked me with a feverish and sadomasochistic erotic imaginary.
That's why I started to paint sinners as Saints and/or Martyrs. I don't know if it's a sort of self teraphy, what I can say is that I really enjoy doing that. I merge Gothic, Baroque and half of Art History with the Fetish Culture, my passion is to take a low-fi, low-quality, soft porn digital picture and remake it with the style and the techniques of the Old Masters.
What kind of Fetish Art we do
OIL PAINTINGS
The size of the canvass is from cm 30 x 50 up to 70 x 100. I love the feeling of the oil medium on the canvass, it's like to caress a real skin. Often I use the gold leaf for the background or the aureoles or other details.
This kind of artwork takes me up to one or two months.
XYLOGRAPHIES
Actually I use to carv a sheet of linoleum, so the right name is Linocut, but the final result is like the old xylographies. Each new lino plate takes me a week of work, the handmade print one hour.
MIXED MEDIA
I work on digital prints on heavyweight paper sheets or canvass, and then I apply precious details as gems, gold leaf, gold cords... This is the faster, low cost and still precious artwork.
The way we work
There isn't so much to say.
I work with love, passion and a lot of kinky feelings.
I love Fetish and the Fetish lovers.
I would like to become the court painter of the Fetish scene.
With a little help of my friends and the collaboration of my young, gifted son.
